Ravi Guru Singh created and sold the world’s first Bollywood digital garment NFT at the Meta Gala, the metaverse version of the Met Gala, as part of Crypto Fashion Week 2021. He was rendered as a digital avatar and wore the outfit, which sold for 1.1 ethereum, as featured in the Times of India and the Hindu, India’s largest newspapers. He works as an analyst at Dealogic, where he collaborates with data scientists and engineers to build a google for leveraged finance. On a part-time basis, he is outside legal counsel to Hatchleaf, a healthcare pre-Series A start-up that enables medical device companies to find doctors to test their products. He debuts as an on-camera lead actor in the independent film, Terrible Children in 2022. He wrote, directed and produced an adult sci-fi animated comedy, Doing the Robot, which has won awards at national and international film festivals around the world, and noted in TV Guide. He briefly appeared on Netflix’s Indian Matchmaking. He was previously a corporate finance associate at Paul Hastings, Cooley LLP and Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. He graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Vanderbilt University on full-tuition scholarships.
